Yosuga no Sora

Type: Series (12 Episodes)
Video: 1920×1080 @ crf 13
1280×720   @ crf 16
Audio: FLAC 2.0 16Bit
Subs: UTW-Ryuumaru
1080p: Torrent
720p: Torrent

And here we have the final batch. Font attachment issues were found in episodes 5-9 they have been replaced. Since I was replacing a bunch of episodes, I spliced in the episode previews for eps 4,6,9. They are now inline with what was aired on TV. OSTs are in both torrents. If you have old files replace at your discretion, the font issues aren’t major. There are no problems with audio / video.

Here are the correct font attachments. If you have old files and don’t wish to re-download one can just remove the current fonts in the old files and mux in these ones. Due to splicing in of previews on some episodes there will be no patches.

Yousei do their own encodes. They’re all filterless at super-high bitrates.

    I LOL’ed.

  5. Zanz writes:

@Nyanko, yeah i know. You should have seen mfw Yousei made CG’s CCS look small.

Best anime eva!!! I am seeding like crazy and will keep seeding!! Bakabt won’t even accept the anime and have many people waiting and angry. Glad someone told me to come here!! One question though how much longer is it until the next 4 episodes are released?

After seeing some screenshots of this and the quote “This show is pretty explicit in more ways than one.” I knew i had to get it.

It’s gonna look good on my 42″ HDTV.
Too bad is not 5.1 Ch audio.
1.7Gb per episode, speed is the only issue for me.

  10. Bloodios writes:

Bwahahaha, “it’s” animated. “It” moved! Man, and I was afraid it will just be still images in BD version too. Thank you!

  11. boingman writes:

@Bloodios: Huh, what the hell are you talking about?

  12. Bloodios writes:

@boingman: Uh, remember how “hot scenes” used to be still images in the TV version? The Blu-ray version have those scenes animated. Basically, what I mean is that in the BD version shows the girls get banged by Haruka in “motion” version instead of some strange slide-shows like in the TV version.

  13. zaockle writes:

Tenshi, just curious if you were gonna release the appended preview for episode 2 or not, since the order to watch the second arc is 1>2>5>6

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

I wasn’t planning on it, as I would have to re-release a bunch of eps just to get a 10sec preview in.

Seems I did it anyway though.

  14. nono writes:

    Thanks for the releases!

I have a question before downloading:

I was waiting for the BD releases for there might’ve been some uncensored scenes like it happens with many series like Yosuga no Sora. Are there any unc. scenes or is it the same as the TV version except for quality?

  15. IZEROII writes:

btw S.J. thanks for the MU alternative

  16. nono writes:

can anyone answer my question please?

  17. Bloodios writes:

    @nono: Blu-ray = uncensored, that’s the trend nowadays.

  18. nono writes:

Thanks. There are many series you expect to be uncensored on DVD but they disappoint and just end up being the same. That’s why I had to ask.

  19. Akina writes:

Tenshi when is the last Volume released, eps 10-12? :3

  20. Akina writes:

Ok thanks. Btw, why didn’t you add chapters to the videos? Not OC, I mean an opening, dialogue and then an ending. So when I hit Fast Forward it doesn’t jump to the next Episode. >_>

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

I don’t use chapters myself so I never include them in my releases. I find the seek bar just fine for getting where i want to go.

  21. トゥ・ビエハ writes:

The last BD is still coming on the 23rd? Hadn’t the lolquake delayed lolBDs releases?

  22. Akina writes:

Ok nice to know. The last Disc of YnS and Maid-sama were delayed because of the quake right? If so when can we expect.. was just about to ask that <_<

  23. Tri_Edge writes:

Quality is all that matters these days so thank you very much for your hard work Tenshi.
You are the best at what you do.

  24. jmaeshawn writes:

@nono: There wasn’t anything censored in YoS in the first place…

  25. LLy_BosHi writes:

    >If you have old files replace at your discretion, the font issues aren’t major. There are no problems with audio / video.
because I’m too lazy to re download, I wonder if you create a patch for it.
but if not then it’s okay, I’d just leave the old files.

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

I have uploaded the fonts you need to correct the eps you have already downloaded.

  26. zqrev writes:

@jmaeshawn / @nono: At least Kazuha’s sex scene was censored, there were white and black blurs over her breasts and one part was zoomed in…

  27. Nettosama writes:

4+ changed right? to know what to DL.

  28. F00 writes:

-__- meh… maybe someone would be so kind and make patches for 05-09 eps? I will be grateful… and others too…

  29. 1337 writes:

    are previews really that important…?

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

No, I just put them in for the sake of completeness since I was replacing the eps anyway.

  30. Craggy writes:

  31. ChrisK writes:

    @S.J.
I think WordPress just ate your 1080p DDL links, feel free to post them again.

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

Actually I ate em, that’s cause eps were replaced. I didn’t want people downloading the older stuff.

  32. IZEROII writes:

    What ChrisK said

  33. Revenant writes:

(Not a mindless complain, as I am aware of the fact that different PoVs exist)
It’s not “quality”, it’s bloat and no effort put into the encode (=aim is to reduce size relative to the source) (for me, personally).
Yet it’s fine for those who do not care about those matters.

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

Everyone draws the line for quality vs size somewhere. With 1080 I tend to draw it very high, as your at a resolution where one can notice it. I always like a degree of safety in my encodes the “bloat” as you call it. Only thing it hurts is file size anyhow, which IMO is insignificant. Considering the extra space used on a 1TB HDD from extra filesize (assuming 1gb std size for 1080s) is only .0084%.

  34. S.J. writes:

    lol, links got removed faster than the speed of light D: anywho, i’ll reupload and post them in the same folder for those who are interested >;

  35. IZEROII writes:

Thanks S.J. I’m using what you are offering until the official ones get posted back up.

  36. Sayer writes:

I was expecting a few new subtitle files in that rar, but it was completely different to what I foresaw. How do you just mux them in? Am I supposed to edit the subtitle file already in the video??

  37. ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

Drag and drop the old files into mkv merge. Then just go to the attachment tabs, deselect the old fonts, and drag and drop the new ones from the rar file. Remux and thats it. Fixed.

  38. Nettosama writes:

I was reading in BakaBT that real-time upscaling 720p to 1080p produces better quality that encoding directly to 1080p, anyone know if this is true?

  39. IZEROII writes:

@Nettosame if you want your answer then download one episode of each and screencap your 720 upscaled on whatever system you are using to watch it and compare it to your 1080. I’d do it for you but I only have 1080. It’ll take you the download time + 5 minutes lol

  40. ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

I would have to say that’s untrue in general. As when you upscale in the encoding phase you can apply filters to video to make it less terrible. IMO upscaling is terrible in general, and you should just watch in native resolution.

  41. IZEROII writes:

You heard it from the boss. Tenshi question. Are you uploading the ddl for 1080 or should I just hit up the torrent to grab the rest of what I need?

  42. meiko writes:

@S.J: please post DDL for 1080 when you have it ready. Are the files in your DDL folder new files or old files?

    Thank you

  43. IZEROII writes:

Sounds good. S.J’s folder is missing 8-11 so I’m torrent bound currently. Thanks

  44. S.J. writes:

    folder is complete again

  45. JackBassV writes:

    No ones seeding the 1080.

Any idea? I’m grabbing the ddls but that’ll take some time – it’s really slow for some reason.

  47. E.K.2.2. writes:

1080p Torrent is so slow. 90+ Seeds and I’m barely getting to 5kbps.

    • ♦Tenshi♦ writes:

Torrent speeds, especially on new releases are greatly affected by your available upload. Generally if you upload more the faster you download. If your ISP doesn’t have good upstream consider getting a seedbox, they can be had for relatively cheap. In addition to helping us distro, you will get better download speeds.

  48. bikar writes:

sry Tenshi but I have seedbox and speeds are terrible 🙁
