    Hey Exo. If you aren’t seeing “Downmix,” go to the “Play” tab, go to Filters, then click on MPC Audio Decoder. You have to check “Mixer” and then select the proper output.

    For anyone using VLC playing these, they FINALLY fixed flac playback so now it down mixes into stereo properly!! And about damn time too as I was tired of using 2.0.3 and it only took a year to fix =/ but I is happy now and DXVA is now built into it and works properly now as 2.1.0 introduced a bug when playing xvid files with DXVA on auto, but i still dont use it cause my cpu is plenty powerful enough considering its a i5 Ivybridge @ 4.4ghz!

    By the way, related with this, I pre-ordered the Neon Genesis Evangelion Blu-ray Box [Limited Pressing] that it’s all the episodes from the original anime released in 1995 remastered: 26 episodes (TV version) and 4 episodes in video format. Also comes with theatrical anime films “Death and Rebirth”, “Death (true)” , and “The End of Evangelion” the remake of episodes 25 & 26.).

    If CoalGirls are interested in doing it, it will be released on August 26, 2015 and I will have it 2 days later (EMS shipping). I can do the same I’ve done to Nisekoi OVA.

    I tried extracting the audios and converting them from FLAC to AAC. The Japanese track was fine however, for the English track, the extracted FLAC shows a playtime of 1:35:44 whereas upon converting to AAC I get a track with a playtime of 1:35:39. Also when I playback the FLAC after 1:35:39 it simply jumps to 1:35:44. This is causing sync errors with the video when I am muxing in the AAC audio. (3.33)

    Can someone kindly tell me why this might be happening?

    I am using mvgmerge to extract and remux the files and foobar2k with Nero AAC encoder to transcode the audio tracks.

      The US and JP versions had different framerates, so the US audio was adjusted using the “stretch” option in mkvmerge. The “fix” probably gets lost when you remux/reencode stuff.

      Yeah, what ChrisK said. If you want to re-encode it, you’re going to need to apply a stretch of 0.999, and possibly a -5189 ms delay.
