Is there any chance of re-working the un-bleeped track onto the episodes?

Where can one acquire the uncensored track? Might try remuxing it if I have time.

Couldn’t hear any audio. Anyone here knows what the solution is? i’m using K-lite 6.3.0 and MPC-HC v1.3.2189.0 (the one bundled with klite)

  7. ss writes:

Way to go girls, thanks for the effort on the v2.

Thank you for episode 03-04 release! You have officially over-taken Doki’s TV release!

i don’t see the different between the uncensored and censored track in 720 p. I still hear the beep-beep on uncensored track. So, which part is the different between those two?

They may’ve still censored a few things on the uncensored track. I don’t know. People wanted the second track, I added it. Blame the studio for anything else.

Well, I prefer having the TL-notes to be inside the video. But, oh well, I guess I will see if this suits me. Thanks anyway. 🙂

Hey can someone upload ep 1-2 720p from new batch torrent?

  17. LaLa writes:

1 question, why in ep 1 (1080p) at interview part (inside TV) is bit laggy? It only me or every one?

I dont think my PC noob, using Q6600 (3.2 OC) and Nvidia N460GTX (800 core/1600 shader/2100 memory OC)

The interview is a super-intense bitrate due to continually changing particles. It’s your computer crying.

  18. superweapons writes:

    @LaLa:
Yeah, those scenes will spike up to 100Mbps (way off the charts compared to the average bit rate) for a few seconds. Still, I didn’t experience any slow downs using the CoreAVC decoder running off a snail-slow IDE hard drive. It plays perfectly fine using either the CPU or the GPU decoder with my Q6600 @ 3GHz and a GTX 260.

Try using a higher performance decoder.

  19. LaLa writes:

    @superweapons:
so what codec that u use?? i found CoreAVC decoder need to pay, is that right??

Im using k-lite mega codec + CCCP (without player) and running without DXVA enable (cos if i do so, some video wana show up or it become blur2 in some part like OP/ED)

I also try enable DXVA for this case, but still a bit laggy..

    Any recommendation???

    @superweapons:
lolz, when i try using windows media player (before this use media player classic-HC), i was dam smooth, i wonder why, but i don like windows media player interface… any suggestion?

  21. superweapons writes:

Hehe, I’m using WMP12 because I can’t get used to the minimalist MPC-HC interface.

I’m guessing that MPC-HC is configured a bit differently compared to WMP. Maybe just reinstalling MPC-HC will fix things. If not, try uninstalling all of your codec packs and grab either the CCCP Beta (http://www.cccp-project.net/beta/) or manually install all the codecs you use. For example, I have:
    AC3Filter
    CoreAAC
    CoreAVC
    CoreVorbis
DivX 3.1alpha (VFW codec for VirtualDub)
    DirectVobSub
FFDShow-Tryouts (for some more VFW codecs)
    Haali Media Splitter
    RealAlternative
    XviD

Additionally, if you have Windows 7, you can try using the Microsoft H.264 decoder. Use Win7DSFilterTweaker to change the settings.

  22. LaLa writes:

woh, that a lot of work to do.. 😀
    btw thnx for the advice..
And thnx coalgirls, cos i like Full-HD!!

seriously you need to drop Tenshi…this is how you encode for public release.

  24. anon writes:

Is it just me or are the uncensored audio track the same as the censored track (both are censored for me) for episodes 03-04?

    Anyone else tested?

  25. banger writes:

i watched them all uncensored track and there are censors still for all 4 eps…so not sure if there are any difference

  26. drago writes:

Since Ryuumaru is now doing this also, will u guys still use their subs or try another group subs?

  27. tormaid writes:

Ryuumaru claims that the source on the disc is upscaled and so they only released a 720p (http://ryuumaru-fansubs.com/seitokai-yakuindomo-episode-01-02-blu-rays/) If this is true then you broke one of your rules with this release “We will not release resolutions larger than the source”

Two things. First, I disagree with them and think it is 1080p native. Second, my rule is larger than the source, not larger than the native resolution. Every Blu-Ray I have ever come across has been 1920×1080. So I won’t be releasing a 1200p version in other words.

  28. tormaid writes:

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I do think your 1080p version looks quite good. I wish studios would include more information about native resolution when the release Blu-Rays. I guess it would look bad for them to admit many shows are still upscales.

  29. ar writes:

There is no way in hell SYD is not an upscale lol. It’s been done decently thats about it. Just look at the detail or lack there of. They’ve done a half decent job at upscaling it. And yes most anime are upscaled from a lower res source. That’s not to say it’s a bad thing if done right. Take Katanagatari that’s all drawn digitally so it has a much higher res source, but something like SYD is drawn by hand for the most part so of course the source will be lower res. Saying it is native 1080p though is an utter joke, look at the colours and the screwed up luma. Yes the luma range for this show is wrong, but it’s not completely terrible. Most of the colours seem to be done with SD colourimetry, and then edited in RGB colourspace and the levels weren’t converted properly post-editing. This is one of the lesser luma-broken shows I’ve seen, Amagami SS is much worse for example. That’s all I’ve got to say about it though.

  30. ar writes:

I’ll also add this. The reason is it edited with RGB colourspace and HD colourimetry is simple, there is CGI added for some parts which uses HD colourimetry and is created in RGB colourspace. They haven’t converted the SD colourimetry properly from the rest of it and then haven’t bothered fixing the levels when encoding it to YUV. So it ends up with broken luma (which is correct for full-range video editing, but wrong for tv-range viewing). The luma being wrong is a clear indicator that a show was made in SD, and then 3D CGI cut into it during production. Take this how you will, but that’s how things usually work.

  31. coalgirls writes:

ar, to me it looks 1080p native and the luma looks fine. You may disagree with me. But the great thing about providing 1080p and 720p is that it’s your choice what you download from me, not mine.

  32. ar writes:

Oh i’m not saying there is a problem. Just telling you about it. 🙂 Don’t take it personally. I encoded the TV ver’s for Ryuu and there was definitely a luma probably, still looks like it exists on BD, but it’s not too bad like I said 🙂 Look for an overly bright scene, and add ‘Histogram(“Levels”)’ line to your avs. If Luma crosses the 235 boundary line (TV range) and overshoots near the pc range line it’s wrong. You can also use ColorYUV(analyze=true) and skip through frames, it will tell you the min/max/avg for luma y/chroma cb/chroma cr. This is probably the easiest way to check. There will generally be a little undershoot below 16 (lower boundary for tv-range) but this tends to be more normal.

    For god’s sake… why ryuumaru?!?
They can’t get half of the puns in this show!
I’m not a fan of Ayako, but their version (I’m talking about TL) is way better than ryuumaru!

  34. ss writes:

    @kaze

You can try out Kira subs, since they are using Ayako’s but only in 1080.

  35. Desert_Fox writes:

    f*ck yeah!

    btw….ep 5 & 6 there’s a gap about 1 GB XD

    well…i don’t care

  36. anon writes:

Thank you for episode 5 and 6!

and CoalGirls, why haven’t you banned ar yet?

Site rules are that if you are going to criticize something back it up with solid reasoning (so a comment like “I can’t wait to see how bloated this is” or “That would be true if only Coalgirls were quality” is not allowed), and do not cry false accusations.
I delete any comment which I see which does this. I only ban if the person is a continual pest, or if they start crap about their comment being deleted and/or modified (for smaller inconveniences).
__ar has made some false accusations before (which have simply been modified) but he is not a continual pest, nor does he start crap after I fix his comments to fit the rules of the site. So no reason to ban him yet.

How is this series being released so fast in Japan on Blu-ray? The series ended last week. I thought that shows don’t start releasing until after the last episode (or 12-13th episode) airs?
