      We’re really just posting RS links here because it keeps me motivated to continue work on this series by doing a few small releases like this. There’s no real benefit to us to do it with older series, nor with most newer series. It just helps with box sets.

    Anyone else notice a strange artifact at the bottom of the screen? Just open the OP and look at their feet as they are walking I don’t really know how to describe it. I’m running the latest mpc hc, madvr, and lav decoders.

    It is possible that I may have missed a pixel or two crop on the bottom since I went with crops based on just a handful of scenes. But the thing is – their feet are never shown walking in the OP. So it makes me wonder if you’re just trying to make this up.

      Yeah, it’s definitely your player. On default CCCP settings it displays, and hell, it’s extremely consistent. The only thing that isn’t consistent is there’s one episode where it’s left-aligned instead of center-aligned due to the way the studio made it.

    Thanks for the replies, I’ll have to look into that. I’m playing these on a Mac through MPlayer OSX Extended with the latest binaries from the guy on animesuki. Not sure if they are the best or not, they seem to play anything else from your site perfectly so far.

    I know you people like to use credit-less opening/ending animations in your encodes when they’re available, but when you’re doing an ordered chapter release like this would it be possible to provide an alternate set of OP/ED files for folks who prefer to have the credits still there?

    It wouldn’t be difficult since it’s just two small files instead of having to make whole separate episode encodes.

    You just need to download the seperate OP/ED files that are listed here and the ending will appear (if you set up your player correctly).

    Some of the EP/ED transitions aren’t perfectly timed, they leave a small part of the EP when the preview starts. Also there’s a weird sound for example in EP10->ED and EP6->ED transition. It’s not a big deal though, but I noticed it so I posted it.

      Unfortunately, this is a tiny flaw in ordered chapters. Here’s how it works.

      Let’s say that the preview starts at 20:00.012. Aegisub will allow anything to show on that frame that starts before that time. For instance, 20:00.02 will not show up on that frame, but 20:00.01 will. So we’ll go there.

      OCs will not display anything unless it starts before the chapter start time. So let’s say I put the chapter start time at 20:00.012. Then the Next Episode Preview sign will not show as it’s supposed to start at 20:00.01. To this, the OC appends a 0. Unfortunately, Aegisub is specific to the hundredth of a second while OCs are to the millisecond, so that’s the discrepancy. Thankfully, OCs do allow a bit of flexibility. So 20:00.009 will display the same frame as the first frame of the preview.

      But it’s different for audio. It goes to the exact time, namely, 20:00.009. As such, you get 0.003 ms of episode audio. That leaves the ultimate choice.
      1. Make it so that the next episode title appears after the start time – which creates a timing “flash”.
      2. Make it so that part of the episode’s video shows up after the ED.
      3. Make it so that part of the episode’s audio is played after the ED.

      I elected to do #3.
