Episodes – 70 + 2
Video – 1440×1080 @ crf 19, 960×720 @ crf 18
Audio – 5.1 FLAC
Subs – R1 (Heavily Modified, Re-styled)

Torrent – 1080p – 720p

We had two options. We could either release the movies in 8-bit or re-encode the entire series to 10-bit using BDMVs instead of raws this time. We chose the latter.
Thanks to Techguru for providing fixed scripts (which we changed back to our own style).

    @all with karaoke problems: I just double-checked with my setup (E8500 Core2Duo @ 3.16 GHz), and everything runs fine with MPC HC + CoreAVC.

    Stop using CCCP, just MPC HC + CoreAVC is good enough (get a recent version from xvidvideo.ru).

And to those voicing about the time to it takes to dl…shouldn’t take that long since most of us have all the files as they were released in mini batches. Regardless, just chill and let it download. It’s not like the torrent is going to die or anything.

    if by old mkv’s you mean the files released before CCS final batch,then yes for they are the same but just moved to a single folder for download.

    Has anyone had any audio problems with the 720 version, I have not finnished downloading, but the sound effects are WAY louder than the voices, by at least 60% probally actually 85%.

    I am using the k-lite codec pack with 6.6.1 version, all default settings (have not had a problem with your previous animes with this) is there another codec pack to try.

    I installed CCCP and it worked fine as well, but I have not had problems out of K-Lite before so since my problem is fixed, I will be staying with K-Lite….

    Have a look at your network settings, make sure correct ports are open and forwarded(if you have a router) and no firewalls are blocking access.

    I’m embarassed to admit that I like a show *this* girly, but fuck it. CCS is one of my favorite shows ever. Arguably one of the top anime series ever made. It always deserves a re-download in higher quality.

    Well, in my opinion the 1080p was somewhat unnecessary and the choice to use FLAC in the 720p encode was a poor one… And the karaoke… The point of karaoke is to be played back… Why would you ever intentionally disregard that?

    However, the series was done very well, and after converting the 720p to AAC(.60) and saving an additional 12 gigs of space – I’d have to say this is, by far, the best option available.

    OP2, OP3, ED1, and ED3 have issues with subtitles on most players (i.e. MPC-HC). The subtitle renderer is too slow for the “advanced” effect in CGi’s subtitles. However VLC player plays all the OP and ED fine. It is a good thing CGi don’t use ordered chapters on this release because VLC does not work well with ordered chapters. In summary, just use VLC player for this CCS release.
