I love this show, i have all of the first series.

Are you going to do the show or just release a few to see how it goes before continuing?

    Thanks for the releases

  3. Swaps4 writes:

Hell yea. I never thought you would end up picking this up.

  4. KDraw writes:

wow guys you are rock! Hell yeah!! 😉

  5. Zizo47 writes:

I’d say Shindou-Anime are your best bet for anything Hunter X Hunter related, even if they haven’t done any releases yet. As far as fan-subbing goes, they own Hunter X Hunter…

BRS, You should have no problem playing 10-bit 1080p video with your system. I am currently using ATI 4250 on-board graphics and an AMD Athlon II X2 240 and I have no problems. I would set the shared video memory to at least 512MB.

    @Zizo47

Heard you the first time, no need to post the same thing again.

    What does “retail subs” mean?

  9. hxh writes:

    Retail subs = CR

  10. IZEROII writes:

It means official or professional subs. Basically think CrunchyRoll or HorribleSubs when see retail. This ordered chapters or please dear God not? I know the last release was.

  11. twedayy writes:

    Okey thank you IZEROII 🙂

  12. IZEROII writes:

Cyras, your honest opinion, 1080 worth it visually over your 720?

  13. Allan Petabyte writes:

Thank you Cryas for all your hard work. Going to be seeding this for a good long while.
Just out of curiosity, why did you not use ordered chapters? Personally I like ordered chapters since it saves on file size while not effecting your impeccable quality for your encodes. I mean come on people, what is not to love about ordered chapters?

  14. Sortvind writes:

woho, good reason to re-watch :3

Do you think is there a noticeable difference between the TV and BD on this?
    Anything extra scenes?

  15. wlfy writes:

oh wow!!! just after exams too! thanks cyras!

  16. Flaiboy writes:

Is there any noticeable different between this and the tv releases?

Thanks for the hard work and no ordered chapters, for some reason my VLC messes up with it.

  23. Zero writes:

Is this Hunter x Hunter 2011 that is currently airing, or is the first season in bluray?

  24. Holiwi writes:

Awesome! Hope you continue on this, I don’t care how long I have to wait until next release, as long as it actually happens 😀

  25. Fulbring writes:

Thanks a bunch for this guys! People! Seed this!

  26. sortvind writes:

For people uncertain, the BD is worth the download!

i am re-watching now, supreme quality.

  27. Zero writes:

Is this BD the one that is currently airing?

  28. Risq writes:

Isn’t episode 59 the first of a new arc? Seems strange that it was included in the previous box… (I might be wrong though)

    • Cyras writes:

It’s the first episode of the Greed Island arc. Even if one might find it strange, they included it in the Phantom Troupe box set 2.

  29. Holiwi writes:

Nice! Never thougth this new pack 49-50 would come this soon 😀 thank you!

  30. Flaiboy writes:

Suprise surprise! I didn’t expect to see this so soon but I’m loving it! Thank you!

  32. EVILRYU UAE writes:

I think Coalgirls just became my favorite fansub 😀

  33. Alex Nguyen writes:

@hamaaan : I think most of Anime-Lover now day prefer download the 1080p or best quality for their collection since the HDD 3Tb / 4 TB are so cheap on market. Just my 2 cents !

  34. EVILRYU UAE writes:

when you say it is not true 1080p, does it it mean that it was 720p and up-scaled?

or something between 720p and 1080p?

i prefer the best quality, but 1080p doesn’t necessary mean its the best quality

  35. kat writes:

    Thank you!!

  36. nathan writes:

good quality and nice subs hope you guys keep it up! thanks a bunch! favorite series 😀

  37. Kicker writes:

  38. Aris writes:

i just started watching this series and am really enjoying it !
    now the question ..
I am done with the BD’s up to 59 i want to continue to watch but not if the current ones being release are censored in anyway. Should i wait for the next box set (any ideas when yet ?) or just break down and watch the current non-BD’s ?

  39. eternalmetal writes:

@ Malloky – What he means is that the show is was not aired in 1080p, meaning the BD itself does not feature full HD production. According to Anibin’s evaluation the show does not feature details that exceed 1280×720. So it wouldnt be Cyras or horriblesubs that didnt do true 1080p but the source itself.

  40. Anonymous writes:

@eternalmetal – Thanks dude, I was really confused about this 🙂

  41. Risq writes:

BBCode fail. The release date is 2013/08/21 .

  42. KurutaJT writes:

Guys, is the blu ray version uncensored? I just only watched chimera ant arc in 2011 remake. Ive seen many changes from the previous classic anime and mangga in translation too like kuruta to kurta, kaito to kite, nefelpitou to neferpitou.

  43. Hoover writes:

    Oh… not included. My bad…

  44. @kurutajt writes:

Translations are just made to be more reader friendly rather than straight copy paste of the names in romaji.

Nefelpitou = Neferpitou is just one of those things that can be lost in translation, because the R sound is made with a roll so it counts as both an R and an L in english. Best example is the dubbed version of One Piece calls Zoro, ‘Zolo’

  45. Wouterin writes:

I’m willing to seed the 1080p version for at least a couple of months (brand new hard drive + uncapped internet) – If someone can help me wrap up my own download? TY

  46. Dan writes:

Can someone tell me what program they use to convert the videos to on a Mac and why the subtitles are not showing up on the BD 1080 video.

  47. neotrouz writes:

Can not wait for the next box.. 🙂
