Yeah, it’s available in Germany… but just with the german dub and there is nothing more creepier than that.
As long as I’m not able to switch to jap. dub and English sub I’ll always prefer the much better fansubs.

  2. Metro writes:

Any chance you can compare your encode with THORA’s?

The source was similar to 2.22 and I used the same chain, and I assume Thora did the same, so check the 2.22 thread.

  3. leolifoiol writes:

Italy: Dynit… sure, but not the Bluray, just the DVD… and who knows how long it’ll take for them to go bankrupt… The dub might be ok tough.

    hi there,
first off thanks for this rip.
secondly i would like to ask if this: http://img153.imageshack.us/i/evatm.jpg/
is because of may codecs. this is the 1080p version.
i get this until about 00:13:50 minutes in, after that the stream is just fine. is it the codecs? should i redownload?

  5. t. writes:

^ same exact thing happening to me.

  6. Latzi writes:

anyone has MU or HF link for 1080p, my torrent is slow as hell

  7. rock writes:

    @misha0209
I have the exactly same problem. I am using the latest version of CCCP+MPC, which works perfectly well with other video files. So I think that the problem is in the file.

  9. banger writes:

i also get that video problem for the first few minutes. stinks. so we will have to download the whole thing all over again if they fix it in a v2. ugh.

  10. tormaid writes:

It’s true, the video is screwed up in this. Not a codec issue. Disappointing since it took so long to download. Hope you can put up a v2 soon.

  11. degl writes:

    same problem with the video.

  12. AnimeReference writes:

me aswell, also running latest mpchc and cccp

  13. coalgirls writes:

I took a check. It is definitely a problem with the video. Reason why it lasts until 13:58 is because I encoded this in chunks and appended them together. Which also means it’ll be easy to fix. Reason why it got through is that I only check 720p before release. Reason why it happened was an avisynth/x264 error which caused the entire encode to mess up.

  14. BinaryCode writes:

Does this mean there will be a patch and/or v2 for the 1080p?

  15. BinaryCode writes:

Also in reference to the 1080p version, it’s not just the first 14 minutes… there’s lots of other segments through out the entire movie that have video/audio corruption.
(not seeing any of my previous comments, so: )
Any chance of a patch or v2?

Patch definitely not. Against policy, and different video means it’d be the full 14 GB anyways. v2, I’m encoding one right now. But are you sure it’s actual corruption and not just OpenGOP?

Sorry, I wouldn't know the difference. I have no problems playing any sort of 1080p video, but their were breakups in video/audio through out the whole file (not referring to and sort of desyncs)… so I referred to it as corrupted – doesn't mean anything, though.
Regardless, seems you're already aware of this (whatever to technically refer to the issue as). So I suppose I'll be redownloading whenever the v2 comes around.

  17. Anon112 writes:

Ah well, worth the wait for a v2.

  18. Virtual_ManPL writes:

Yep, video is broken like on misha0209 SS.
Other decoders and splitters didn’t make any difference.

    Waiting for v2 🙂

But you guys really should check your files before sharing, to prevent this silly and annoying mistakes xP

  19. Anonymous writes:

Would probably be a good idea to remove the links to the broken torrent.

  20. tormaid writes:

I agree. You’ve acknowledged the problem already, take down the link to the 1080p version.

  21. Hughsy writes:

Is it just me, or is the audio out of time in the 1080? I’m using the CCCP pack and MPC. It could be because I’m pretty bad at using the different features, but I just thought I’d ask.
    Thanks for the help 🙂

  22. OniSamurai writes:

Was 88% done when I came back to see that a v2 is coming out. *sigh* Guess its better than getting 100% and realizing there’s gonna be a fix. XD

  23. Steve writes:

    @Hughsy
You have set “VSFilter Subpicture Pre-Buffering”? (CCCP Setting) That has helped me to correct audio/video sync in some cases.

  24. noel writes:

is this an English subs ???

  25. AnimeReference writes:

no, cg like to measure their japanese subtitles based on americaness

  26. Anonymous writes:

There is some MAJOR corruption in the 108… oh…

Why is the link still up?

  27. Hachi writes:

On the 720p English dub some of the channels are missing, the Japanese audio plays back fine but there is no voice channel for me on the English dub, which is a shame as I mainly got this for the dub.

  28. Law writes:

oh crap, downloaded and realized video is broken. Should have read the comments before downloading >_>

Any reason why this isn’t mentioned in the description?!

Take the 1080p torrent down already.

  31. tormaid writes:

Thank you so much for the v2. This movie looks amazing.

  32. banger writes:

has anyone downloaded and checked that theres no problems? just wanna make sure before i blow the bandwidth

ChrisK: Just watched it (v2), no problems.

  33. narf writes:

How did you take care of the incorrect channel order with more than 5.1 channels in FLAC? Or the fact that anything 6.1 played back with ffdshow is mapped to the wrong channels anyway.

  34. IZEROII writes:

I will be waiting for your dual audio version then 🙂

  35. Sayer writes:

Yeah same, the wait doesn’t bother me at all.

IMO Evangelion.Shin.Gekijouban.Jo.BD(1080p.FLAC)[Apa][B87A0C19].mkv is much better encoded.

I’ve got the latest Klite codec pack, use MPC, have a very fast dual processor, dual core, hyperthreaded cpu’s, fast x16 PCI-E video and run on ultrawide U320 15K SCSI’s with a the highest end sound blaster you can buy and surround sound speakers. everything looks great. BUT while all the action sounds are present in 5.1 surround sound the audio associated with people talking is equivalent of 1 on a 10 point scale while the rest is a 7. Even cranking it up to maximum audio volume it is very hard to hear the characters talking and at that level even the sound of crickets are loud as explosions yet you can barely here the characters.

I even tried loading Divx up and it accepted it but said I was missing a 10 numeric digit audio codec.

    any help?

  40. bane-o writes:

@interstel: Turn all of your speakers upside down. Doing so will invert the volume of the audio and it will sound correct.

  41. Interstel writes:

To bane-o was the sarcasm really necessary when I was really trying to get help on the subject?

  42. John writes:

    @Interstel
The sound is fine. The directors had in mind the sound in a full damn home CINEMA. I had to use some Bass redirection in AC3 filter (120 cutoff) with MPC-HC and it worked perfectly. Find a way to send all the bass frequencies to the subwoofer if you’re not using AC3 filter.

  43. Jjunos writes:

Anyone know why this file won’t play on a western digital tv live? I edited with mkmerge, and the video works fine, but as soon as I add back in the audio, it won’t play anymore. Anyone know if the audio is special in some way?

  47. Lain_13 writes:

Seems like comparison links are long dead.

  48. Peorth writes:

    @Interstel

I think I know what you mean, I’ve encountered this problem on several BD encodes (not just CG’s stuff). Like in your case, the voices of the characters are significantly muted while the rest of the sounds (e.g background music, sound effects, etc.) retain the normal volume. It seems to be a problem with MPC-HC because if I use XBMC’s video player it plays these problematic encodes flawlessly.

I previously thought it had to do with the latest version of MPC-HC interacting with my crappy SoundMax onboard audio. That’s because MPC-HC plays the problematic videos well on another computer with (crappy) Realtek onboard audio. However given that you have a discrete sound card the problem probably isn’t with the hardware but some weird bug in MPC-HC that probably occurs with a combination of some factors.

I’ve been looking for a solution for quite some time now and I haven’t found anyone else except you that has the same problem as me. I have more than a terabyte of BD encodes but fortunately only a small number are affected by this problem so I just use XBMC to play them.

  49. Peorth writes:

…And yes, I can’t open the comparison links.

  50. fri writes:

    @Interstel, Peorth:
It’s just that those are 5.1 encodes, while you probably have 2.0 set, like headphones. If you use ffdshow audio decoder, enable Mixer and choose your speaker configuration.
