So we have reached the end of this anime. Mixed feelings about this, but I do hope we get to see another season of Hunter X Hunter in the future.

It has been quite the project, starting a couple of years ago or so. I’ve had my ups and downs when it comes to releasing episodes “on time”, but at least I reached the finish line. Overall, I did enjoy working on this anime a lot. But, this project is not really over…

With the end of TV project, I will go back to working on the Hunter X Hunter Blu-rays. I still have a lot to do, and there won’t be any releases before the final batch.

    They are pretty much dead. You’ll get a few releases from Tenshi here and there, but look at that stale list of “Ongoing Projects”. At first it was due to lack of BDMV sources because of some Share raid. However those, Oda and Yuri Yuri 2 for example, have been released by other groups so sourcing shouldn’t be an issue anymore. Now? I don’t know.. pretty much stopped caring. I’ll just get my fix from other groups and hope to backfill with CGi someday.

    They’re releases are two weeks apart at a minimum now, and they keep picking up series without finishing them or the ones that have been on hold for god knows how long. It was jumping the gun to say they’re dead, but it definitely appears as though they’re dieing. It sucks because I used to look forward to coming here. They did quality work, and had some anime that you couldn’t find elsewhere. They could at least let us know what’s going on.

    >First it’s “THEIR” and secondly, nope, Eps 69/70 of HxH were released the same day they aired… yeah two weeks for all the releases…
    Anyway, if you’re impatient with people doing stuff for free for their/our enjoyment (and wallet for certain people), yeah, just go see elsewhere, we won’t blame you (I suppose).

    They mainly drop series when a good source isn’t available. Take for instance, Eureka Seven AO. Comparing the ‘drop rate’ of CGirls with the ‘completion rate’ of the series they’ve done, I’d quit whining.

    I doubt this is the place to ask, but I wanted to request a series for Coalgirls to do BDs for. The TV rips of K Project were finished by Doki but they said they weren’t doing the second season or the BDs and I can’t find a group doing them. I watched it and while it had it’s ups and downs, coming from an avid anime fan I can say that it is definitely worth a watch in the end. The studio put some nice effort into the animation as well so it’d be a shame to not have a BD rip available of it.

      They have already confirmed that the anime will go on after the Greed Island arc at least. The Chimera Ant arc is said to start 21 Apr 2013 (episode 76). I don’t think we know more than that atm.

    In Ep.38, there are several word “Gems” which should be “Games”.

      “There were a bunch of hidden gems for this console.”
      “Then is this memory card one of those hidden gems?”
      They don’t use the engrish word for game in there, so it’s most likely not supposed to be games. Would “Then is this memory card one of those hidden games?” work in your opinion?
