I know this is probably beyond being nitpicky but the ending for ep 11 is not the same as ep 13, the “rock-paper-scissors” part is different. The point is that Araragi gets better at it progressively, seeing that Senjougahara only uses scissors 🙂

There are 5 parts to this animation which includes endings for ep 9,10,11,13,14 and the ep 11 one is missing in this release 🙁

I don’t know what’s going on with the files. 1. WMP doesn’t recognize the files as being playable even though all the other .mkv files will play just fine and, 2. Even when I use MPC to play the files there’s still parts of the video that pixelated or look like it was running the negative color scheme. If this isn’t a bitrate issue, it’s probably the fact that debanding filters can end up killing detail.
I would assume that most people download your releases because they want something as close the source as possible, without having to get the ISOs.
If the source has banding all over the place, don’t deband it; just blame the source.

P.S. The difference in the second pic is harder to spot, but the edges on the hair come out much worse in the 10-bit encode. This could be a bitrate issue; at lower bitrates, such high frequency detail is readily discarded. Or it could be that a lower psy-trellis and a higher deblock setting were used in comparison to the 10-bit encode.
Either way, it’s ended up looking worse.

Awesome release. Just too awesome for my video player that I had to do extra tweaking to fully juice out the awesomeness.

For those having problems with the pixelation or stutter, I would really suggest getting CoreAVC for the video decoder, but it’s not free (there’s a free 14 days trial though). The only problem with it is that for some odd reason, it causes the video to flip (which is easily resolved by flipping it back in the player, beats having pixels on screen :P). Otherwise the quality is pretty breathtaking.

The problem’s in their chapter script where they accidentally typed the duration which was supposed to be 01.30.00 into 01.03.00. You easily fix this by extracting (sorta demux the video) the chapter xml file then editing it with a notepad. (just replace any durations of 1.03 to 1.30) and then remuxing (again, the video) it. It doesn’t change the file quality or the subs so it’s pretty simple. I did this using mkvtoolnix, a free tool. just use the mkv extract (possibly have to download as a separate file (the GUI) but it’s by the same developer.) to find the chapter file and extract it from the vid. Edit it then use the mkv merge GUI (mmg.exe) and remux it (attach it in the attachments tab then start the muxing).

Open episode 15.mkv in mkvmerge GUI. Then go to Chapter Editor -> Load -> episode 15.mkv.

You will see “Ending” under “Edition 1” and “Edition 2”. Change the “End” value from 00:01:03.007000000 to 00:01:30.007000000 for both “Edition 1” and “Edition 2.” Coalgirls accidentally inputted 1:03 instead of 1:30.

Afterward, go to Chapter Editor -> Save. Play the file and it properly plays as intended. 🙂

I’m sorry everyone, it’s my bad, I put the file outside its main directory, separate from the other file when editing it, that’s why its length become shorter (22:25).

After moving it back to it’s main directory, it play nicely without problem ^^

for solution, you should use 1080p 8-bits source when you want to resize to 720p.
Or if you only have 1080p 10-bits then you should use two specific resizing that is…

Lanczos4Resize(1280,720)
which above resizing you won’t worry about dot resizing effect.
