    I´m having problems with episode 10: I´ve downloaded it twice (one from the torrent and another one from that Megaupload link that someone posted in a comment), and in both of them I can´t watch beyond the Preview. When the Opening is supposed to start, it goes back to the beginning.

    Use Media player classic (MPC). You’ll need to do the following:
    1. Delete VLC and replace it with MPC:
    Get CCCP (which has Haali, MPC, and a whole bunch of other stuff) here:
    http://www.cccp-project.net/
    It’ll have a whole bunch of vid/audio codecs so you should be covered.
    Once that’s done.
    2. Open CCCP settings or FFDShow Audio settings and disable FLAC audio.
    3. Open MPC and under options, enable the FLAC audio filter.
    4. Play Bakemonogatari.

    You could also try using Core AVC 2.0 to render the video if you dont feel like using FFDShow’s H264 encoder. I find Core AVC to be pretty good at encoding it.

    Yeah. No problem. I remember something about the video and audio being off sync and Satanas back then explained that FLAC audio encoding should be done by the encoder from the actual player itself to reduce desyncing.

I’m unwilling to watch the web rips because when it comes to shows that I love I only except the best. Also thanks for your work so far coalgirls. Almost a perfect 720p release except for the FLAC audio(such a waist of space and bandwidth). I can understand 1080p using FLAC but I think 720p should just use high bitrate AAC.

FWIW, thanks to the 8 million signs/text screes per ep, it’s understandable if it takes CG a bit longer than normal to get these out. Has to be a huge pain in .ass.

    BD vol 06 is delayed until June 9th! Clearly the words “deadline,” “schedule” and similar don’t exist in the Shaft universe.

    Don’t care about 720p FLAC vs. AAC, but definitely keep lossless or unaltered direct multichannel rip (PCM is stereo only – right?) for 1080p version.

CG seems to be doing the same thing as Thora, picking up way to many shows which results in delays on there older shows. At least not as slow as Thora who is only up to episode 5. Is episode 13 a recap? Anidb has S1(which I’m guessing is 13) titled as ‘Episode 05.5 – Special Recap’.

    because everyone else is pretty bad. while i did watch gg for 13, wasnt the greatest AND 14 was done by a group ive never even heard of and wasnt good at all. better to wait since this is by far the best series i have seen in forevers.
