    I’d love to see a Coalgirls release of “The Twelve Kingdoms”. I’m not 100% sure of the BD source download availability though. Not a “cute girl” anime, but definitely not ecchi and has an interesting female lead (once you get through the first 7 episodes). It’s somewhat lengthy at 45 episodes.

    I’ll also throw my vote in for Air (plus the Air in Summer episodes). No elaboration needed there.

    As long as it doesn’t cause a delay down the road with After Story (disaster-related delays understandably can’t be helped) I’ll be happy.

    For your information, doing this at 1080p is stupid since the series has been mastered at 540p. And unless you’re doing extremely :effort: sectioned filtering, it’s going to look like ass at 1080p since the quality varies from extremely blurry to horribly aliased on a basically scene-to-scene basis. I have the BDMVs for this myself and couldn’t be arsed to do anything with them due to the aforementioned facts (and because CEB had already done great 720p rips of this).

    is it possible for a 1080p to be worse than the 720p equivalent quality wise? or will the 1080p always look at least the same as the 720p? i was reading some posts on bakabt where they sometimes say a show “looks like crap in 1080p”…do they mean its just a waste of file space or that it actually looks worse?

Everyone makes a big deal about Studio Bones work being animated at 540p, but practically every show is animated at sub HD resolution. Don’t think 1080p is worth it? Don’t download it…
