Now that you mention Yin, I’d like to see the first season of Darker than Black.

Please do Air or Kanon, I love those shows and they don’t have a quality bluray release.
I don’t know if they are available for download like you specified, but I would really like to have these shows on good quality.

  5. Evangelion96 writes:

    K-ON?
or Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom-

  6. Tiago writes:

OMG lol, I even commented of that. Sorry, didn´t mean Kanon…XD
But what about Air? You have Clannad, Kanon and Haruhi, you just need Air to complete the “set” 😀

I was trying to think of something to recommend but I looked at my list and you’ve done pretty much everything I’m interested in lol.
The only thing missing is baka to test, but I think you would’ve done it by now if you wanted to.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SHOW “Seto no Hanayome”(濑户の花嫁), which is sosososososo funny and joyable! The BD raws/BD rips for the show are available through PT / BT or Shares, however I didn’t see any fansub doing the HD version (1080P)for it currently, maybe coalgirl should give a shot ^_^

  11. Andromeda writes:

    But Ein is cute 🙁

And I’d vouch for SnH too, but they’d have to get the subs from like 5 different groups (and make sure they’re not awful) since I don’t think a single group ever completed it.

  12. Epic Sax Guy writes:

    Kamichu! please, dunno about availability
i can send you Chuchuchuu’s subs if yr interested
lost of cute girls btw :^D

  14. Linx-san writes:

Can you please do the Koihime Musou series?

If not can you at least do season 2 of the series

    Shin Koihime Musou

  15. Epic Sax Guy writes:

    2. The show has minimal to no ecchi ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

I vouch for Seto no Hanayome.

I don’t know whether these are in blu ray but here’s a few suggestions you may be interested in:

    Lucky Star – 24eps
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann – 27eps
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes – 12eps
    Seitokai no Ichizon – 12eps
Black Lagoon – 24epd (season 1+2) (non really any cute but loads of guns)
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time – movie (you have summer wars so why not?)
Hetalia: Axis Powers – 52eps (But really short, dub if possible, you get accents)
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan – 12eps (Slight ecchi but mostly blood)
Baka to Test to Shōkanjū – 13eps
    Air – 13eps

Some of these you probably would have already done by now if you weregoing too =(

I’d have to agree that DtB S1 sounds pretty good, although I don’t think you’re into dual audio releases are you? It’s like one of the 2 shows I think has a dub worth listening to.

Anyway, maybe some movie releases would be cool? I’m having a hard time thinking of any that have released on BD recently though.

How about Rahxephon, or the Macross Frontier series.

  20. Merushi writes:

Well K-ON seems to fit the preferences.
Why don’t you wanna do it, just curious?

    Haruhi-chan would be good.

  25. Joe Bob writes:

How about Heartcatch Precure? It’s probably the best magical girl show of recent years (not counting Madoka Magica, which is targeted towards adults). It has a pretty good story and finished up last month or the month before that.

  26. logenya writes:

    >3. It is not K-On, and it is not Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom-

    Why not?

  27. RoadSign writes:

I was thinking on Tsubasa Chronicle, but it seems licensed or something so no one is picking it up. I can’t find anything besides the CASO rips…

  28. Sir Derpinstien writes:

    Y U NO K-ON!!?

Er, yeh, not sure where Thora is, so am scared.

but well, Air would be nice. Would like to see Baka to Test to Shōkanjū.

Angela should count as cute. 😀

  32. Akina writes:

As far as I last read a post of CGi. They weren’t interested in doing Lucky Star BDs because they are not True HD. Upscaled from SD 480p
    I vote for either
–Gosick (The BDs start coming out soon) http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=KAXA-3001
    –Dance in the Vampire Bund
    or
    –Umineko no Naku Koro ni

But more then anything I really hope you pick up Gosick. <3

  33. meiko writes:

How’s about Zomebie Desu Ka? The show has a lot of cute girls ^^

  34. Andromeda writes:

    2. It is complete prior to 3/15/2011 (i.e., a show like Kuragehime or Ika Musume, which have 1-3 months to go until all episodes are on BD, will not do)

  35. Cmdr Brannick writes:

I agree with Zomebie Desu Ka? But there still only airing the episodes, never mind blu ray

  36. Myuzaki writes:

I have two recommendations. Each suggestion has two seasons.

    1. -ef- a tale of memories/melodies
    2. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch/R2

    Both are non-upscaled 1080p.

  37. meiko writes:

How’s Seitokai no Ichizon? It’s a good show too ^^
The next two are good for consideration too:
    _Shuffle
    _Asura Cryin’

  38. meiko writes:

Btw, Yumekui Merry is on air too, but you are planning on Bluray already. Is that fine to add Zombie Desu ka to your future list? ^^

  39. RoadSign writes:

@Myuzaki THORA already did, and its well done
    http://www.thoranime.org/?p=685

    Code Geass in 720p tho

  40. 5ushi writes:

I second Sora no Otoshimono, despite being told otherwise…
The RAWS for the Forte season is quite widely available on the net.

And I see, though unsure if it’s been delayed due to the quake, that the first season is coming out on blu-ray sometime this year as well. This is a box-set, coming with the OVA EP14 as well (which was limited to manga-combo packs)

Considering the first season ATM is available only at DVD res (480p by Polished), maybe you girls could be the first to take on the 1080p variants? And incase you’re wondering, SnO is (well, the Forte was) native 1080p.

I’m personally not keen on the Forte series as the storyline is rather exagerated compared to the first, but that’s up to you girls.

  41. 5ushi writes:

Oh snap; I’ve made a fool of myself. NVM; ignore my request above then…

  42. Merushi writes:

Seitokai no Ichizon would be nice. That show is in serious need of high quality material, as for the subs: UTW (HarEM) has good subs.

  43. meiko writes:

    Agree!!! ^^

  44. Sayer writes:

    5ushi that was fucking funny!

I’m with a few of the lads up above, DTB s1 would be nice, considering you can do it now as well =)

  45. kindergraph writes:

tokyo magnitude 8.0. there’s a complete bd-box out, a few cute female characters (although they’re not really designed to be “moe”) and there’s no ecchi. the quality of the hdtv rips was lacking (artifacts everywhere) so it could benefit from the bd treatment. of course it might be a bit insensitive considering recent events…

  46. synthc writes:

Doki is doing Seto no Hanayome.

I vote for Darker Than Black (season 1), Black Lagoon, or Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu. Or maybe K-ON!! since Thora seems to be dead atm.

  47. TheOtherJN writes:

    @kindergraph
Touykou Magnitude has been done remarkably (AFAIK) by fansub group ‘Urusai’.
    http://urusaisubs.blogspot.com/2010/04/tokyo-magnitude-80.html

Well, Coalgirl can still be up for this project if they want to.

As for extra projects, I was going to say Hatsukoi Limited… being 11 episodes and a surprisingly good adaptation, but another group has finished that project (Yuurisan)… but reviewers are also saying their subs are terrible.
