    That isn’t what he meant. Funsubbers are doing all this endless work without expecting anything for it. All they can expect is some donations. After someone has done something for free it is customary to thank that person sincerely. But instead asking them for something more is quite rude.

    Try to imagine yourself in theirs spot. Between all their work they took the extra time to release this beautiful series. It would be wiser to thank them and download what they offered.

      We have used TV video before. Toradora, the like 2 horrible episodes of that one shaft series I forget the name of, Haruhi #1, Kobato 1-6, Nichijou, Yuru Yuri Season 1, and the start of YY2. But we always prefer BD.

    Question, though. Is the font supposed to be just white plain font? Because if not the fonts are probably not muxed on the 1080p version. It’s nothing like the EveTaku font, at least.

    Sorry if it’s a stupid question, it’s just that you usually use the same font as the one used by the original script’s group

    I’ve included multiple sub tracks only a couple of times for English. And it was hardly ever because one group was any better than the other. It was usually done to demonstrate a point. If a sub is crap, it shouldn’t be included, that’s all it comes down to.

    @Moriya: Yes. BD (usually )are uncensored, unless it’s censored by design. But there isn’t a lot of blood/gore in the first 4 episodes, so there’s pretty much nothing censored compare to the later episodes.

    @chai: Apart from what Bloodios said, you can actually go Google for comparisons, as people have put together comparison threads/post/images etc. etc.

    Oh and let’s just assume that the “p” means the vertical resolution for the sake of this post.

    However, I realized that the BD version is the more complete version, and that EveTaku’s subs, the ones I prefer for various reasons, have just a few mistakes that needed correcting. One big instance was Mikasa’s line in episode three: http://i.imgur.com/x5hUNq7.jpg

    The official English translation (incorrect translation) was Mikasa thinking Eren was happy he can finally be free from Mikasa protection, as he can defend himself now. The actual translation was that Mikasa thinks Eren is happy to not be separated from her, as a result of her yandere delusion, since now he’s a member of the Corps. EveTaku got that line wrong while GG and Commie got it right; just wondering if CGi fixed that line in particular.
