So we have reached the end of this anime. Mixed feelings about this, but I do hope we get to see another season of Hunter X Hunter in the future.

It has been quite the project, starting a couple of years ago or so. I’ve had my ups and downs when it comes to releasing episodes “on time”, but at least I reached the finish line. Overall, I did enjoy working on this anime a lot. But, this project is not really over…

With the end of TV project, I will go back to working on the Hunter X Hunter Blu-rays. I still have a lot to do, and there won’t be any releases before the final batch.

    The BDs for Greed Island and the first half of the Chimera Ant arc have been uploaded on ADC for a while now. I think they cover episodes 60 – 91.

    The vast majority of us are very grateful for your work on this series and dedicated in our support.

    A piece of advice that always works but is almost never followed: On the day the next episode should come out but doesn’t, you can eliminate a good 80% to 90% of the complaints if you immediately post a blurb acknowledging the episode is late. Something like “Episode ### will be late. We are working on it.”. No explanations or forecasts, just an immediate acknowledgment that it is late and confirmation that it has not been abandoned. That’s really all most people would like to know.

    We are patient and loyal, despite being totally embarrassed when Hatsuyuki publishes first (chuckle).

    While we’re in the subject of renaming, I find it curious that your releases of current show are the only ones that don’t prefix the episode numbers with a dash. Practically all other fansub groups name the releases like this: “[GroupName] Show Title – 00 [CHECKSUM].mkv”. Yours are the only ones that read “[Coalgirls] Show Title 00 [CHECKSUM].mkv”.

    I’m not complaining. Really it’s just plain trivial/nitpicking. Just curious why your naming conventions are different.
