    As a status update: All episodes up to vol 8 (GC15 & GC16) have been completed. They are currently in the final stages of QC and will be released in the foreseeable future. Please be patient as this as been quite a project to get all volumes caught up to date.

    @banger~ as far as i can tell, the first 6 episodes are the same encodes… no change in the script. well, i’ve only seen the “bold” in the letters toned down and the op romaji shifted a bit.

    Yes, the previously released episodes were only changed slightly; nothing major that requires a redownload in order to watch. In your torrent client, just unselect the files you don’t want to download before adding it to your download queue. That should lessen the amount of bandwidth you will need to use.

    @Darkblinker: The one you got from anime-sharing is wrong. Check the actual CRC32 of the file. If it’s the same as the CRC32 value in the filename of the one in the torrent then chalk it up as the way your filesystem handles calculating filesizes. The GC15 that is in this torrent is the only version that has been released under the [Coalgirls] name. Only GC1-6 were re-released IIRC.

    @Everyone (Status update): vol09 and vol10 have been downloaded, chaptered, and encoded. Once the current project volume I’m working on is done, I’ll start on the audio encoding, timing, and such of GC again.

    I have a very busy personal life and little time that I can devote to actually working on the releases. I will not hold a steady release schedule because of this. I work on my shows as I have time; they are not the highest priority things in my life. Most of my releases will be done in big batches as I get them done. Current GC17 through GC20 are done, they just need a good look over for QC. GC21 and GC22 have been encoded and premuxed, all they need is to be timed and QC’d. However since this is the last volume in the series, it will be a bit because I also need to go back and do the final batch of all episodes, like ordered chapters, noCD op’s and ED’s, etc…

    I will not be doing mirai Nikki at this time. This is not because I don’t want to (I really liked the show) but it’s because of the complexity of the show and typesetting. Currently it is nearly impossible to soft sub the series with a high level of quality because of the cellphone screens. The amount of typesetting and motion tracking required is absurd, even then the .ass renderers are not perfect and will cause discrepancies depending on what player/screen aspect ratio/platform that the release is played on. It’s just not feasible at this time until the fansub group will work with cyras in getting their scripts.

    @TheVillain I get 180 kb/sec which is prett good on my slow connection (that’s as fast as I ever get). My advice is, if you want to watch episodes sooner, set the priority to high on the next episode you plan to watch and reenable files that still need to download when ready. Otherwise, download the 720p for smaller file sizes… and check your torrent client’s settings. You don’t have to have all of the episodes downloaded at once to start going through it though
